Agape Development Ministries

Agape strives to bring hope and transformation to Houston's Third Ward through economic, emotional, and spiritual empowerment.

Contact: Vince Odorisio

At Agape Development, we are transforming our neighborhood by preparing Christ-following, independent, community leaders. These 4 pillars of being neighbors, following Christ, becoming independent, and developing leaders are expressed in Children’s, Youth, and Adult programming. The full time staff who all live on the edge of Third Ward serve in K-5th grade afterschool and sports activities, 6th- 12th grade sports, discipleship, and small group Bible study, and adult residential discipleship, job-readiness, and empowerment classes. Agape Development is excitedly planning its first small business to employ ex-offenders, as well as strategy for preserving safe, affordable housing in the light of rising prices in our community.

How to Pray:
- Pray that the Holy Spirit save and heal people from sin, trauma, and abuse that has ravaged the lives of so many of our neighbors
- Pray that indigenous leaders would be raised up from within the community who would lead the neighborhood
- Pray for the staff of Agape Development that they would be sustained body, mind and spirit in the fight of so much evil
