Plant With Purpose, a Christian nonprofit organization, reverses deforestation and poverty around the world by transforming the lives of the rural poor. We partner with farmers, their families, and their local churches to strengthen relationships with God, promote economic and social development, and restore the land on which these farmers live. Our holistic model promotes sustainable development through community leadership, economic resilience, regenerative agriculture, and restoring relationships through all of creation. We work in Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Dominican Republic, Ethiopia, Haiti, Malawi, Mexico, Tanzania, and Thailand. Globally, we currently work alongside 84,129 families, directly benefiting more than 479,913 children and adults. Indirectly, through our watershed model, 1,290,960 individuals are impacted through our programs. Partnering farmers are able to cut their level of poverty by 55% and experience 37% higher crop yields.
