Mission Trips & FAQ

WHY DO WE PARTICIPATE IN MISSIONS?

The Christian life is most pleasing to God and most joyful for us when we are giving our life away. It is a privilege to bear fruit! (John 15:1-11) Every follower of Christ has received the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20), and we build life-changing relationships when we serve alongside each other.

WHAT ARE OUR OBJECTIVES FOR SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIPS/SERVICE PROJECTS?

When we participate in trips or projects, we seek two outcomes: we desire to have a helpful impact on those we serve and we desire to be transformed in the process. Short-term mission trips and/or short-term service projects should be well conceived, and support long-term objectives. When done well, we believe that short-term opportunities further the Kingdom, and give us a taste of the joy that comes from a life of participating in God's work.

WHAT'S THE PROCESS TO APPLY TO GO ON A SHORT-TERM MISSION TRIP?

Depending on the trip, there are different prerequisites for participation. Trip details can be found below.
